Does Sendbloom automatically detect and remove bounces from the campaign?

Detecting Bounces

Yes - Sendbloom automatically detects when a prospect email bounces and is not delivered. We will mark prospects as a 'bounce' in campaign  statistics when you receive a hard bounce notification email from your mail system.

Automatic Removal from the Campaign

Sendbloom will automatically cancel all future emails in the campaign for a bounced prospect as soon as a bounce is detected.

I received bounces in my inbox, but Sendbloom hasn't registered them yet in my Campaign statistics. Why is that?

There are two types of bounce emails you can receive in your inbox: soft bounce and hard bounce notifications. Sendbloom will automatically remove prospects from a campaign once you receive a hard bounce notification for any prospect.
Soft Bounce vs. Hard Bounce
If it's a soft bounce, your email server has not determined that the email is undeliverable yet and will continue to try and deliver your email until the message until it is either delivered successfully or fails permanently (and you receive a hard bounce).
If it's a hard bounce, your email server has determined the email is undeliverable and will stop attempting to send the message
